The Process:
When I started working with Trademark Plastics Corporation, they had 3 separate logos being used on 3 separate business card designs and a website that looked like it was made in 2008. Initially, they were just looking for a logo to pull everything together and they were pleased with a simple wordmark in one strong color but as we worked on the changes, I wondered if we could go for a more abstract idea. We landed on a visual interpretation of the chemical chain for their most popular plastic in the shape of a globe to represent their global distribution.
